La Milanesiana - Futuro prize
TOWARDS THE SUSTAINABLE PROGRESS
This year we chose to support a project that rewards Progress, a value in which we firmly believe and which we are committed to pursuing also in our Estate that wants to look to the future. We have therefore become sponsor of La Milanesiana: a festival conceived and managed by Elisabetta Sgarbi which, since 2000, has been a “laboratory of excellence” of literature, cinema, music, art, science, philosophy and much more. The festival’s aim is to bring together different arts and knowledge, reuniting international excellences from the world of culture and science to Milan and other Italian cities: Nobel Prize winners for Literature and Science, Film Oscars, and musicians who have received major international awards.
FUTURE-VILLA BOGDANO 1880/LA MILANESIANA PRIZE
To validate this new collaboration, the Futuro-Villa Bogdano 1880/La Milanesiana Prize has been established and dedicated to a personality who has distinguished himself or herself in his or her work by values in harmony with the Estate’s project: environmental sustainability, innovation, the courage to differentiate. By promoting this prize we want to make our contribution to the commitment to research, innovation and the courage to change, being aware of the need to combine science and entrepreneurship with the respect for nature, man and art.
The prize will be awarded on 30th June at Palazzo Reale in Milan to Professor Alberto Mantovani – immunologist and President of the Humanitas Foundation for Research – and to the American writer Anna Boyer – Pulitzer Prize 2020. During the award ceremony, introduced by Elisabetta Sgarbi, there will be interesting readings and speeches by Eshkol Nevo, Hervé Le Terrier and Professor Mantovani himself; the evening will end with a concert by Extraliscio with Davide Toffolo “è bello perdersi Tour d’Italie”.
