FAI Autumn Days 2021
Among the more than 30 locations that can be visited in the provinces of Venice and Verona on the occasion of the precious and always interesting FAI Autumn Days, this year there will be present our Estate too. In particular, the protagonist will be our woodland dating back to Medieval times, that is now a biodiversity oasis certified by the Natura 2000 European network and home to many rare species of flora and fauna that we commit to protect and preserve every day.
When is the visit taking place and what is it consisting of?
During the whole day of Sunday 17th October, the highly trained FAI young members will be your guides during the visit: they will tell you about the history of the estate and of Villa Bogdano, an ancient Venetian palace dating back to the 16th century that has been renovated and now hostes the wine shop; they will give you important information on the organic farming methods that have been meticulously applied here since 1993 and on the production cycle of our wine; they will guide you through the rows of vines to the ancient woodland, giving you an overview of the biodiversity present on the Estate and of the historic viticultural heritage that we are lucky enough to host and look after.
At the end of the tour, you will be able to taste and buy all our wines at the wine shop on the ground floor of Villa Bogdano. You will be welcomed by Monica, the Estate’s hospitality manager, who will guide you through the wine tasting. If you are lucky you might also find and meet Lucio, the oenologist and agronomist who looks after the vineyards and creates our wines like an artist… And who is therefore always very busy and out and about on the Estate!
