Scholarships – Wine Scholar Guild & Villa Bogdano 1880

With great pleasure we announce our collaboration with the renowned international academy Wine Scholar Guild, which offers certification programmes for advanced training on the world of wine, providing accurate and in-depth information in particular on the wines of France, Italy and Spain, also thanks to the presence of highly qualified teachers including Master of Wine, Master Sommelier and well-known wine writers.

Since we share with the Wine Scholar Guild the goal to spread the knowledge about Italian wines and old vines on an international level, we are honoured to sponsor two scholarships focused on the following topics:

• why are Italy’s old vines worth preserving?
• why does Italy’s wine-growing past matter to its present?

The winners of the scholarships will be awarded with a fully paid online enrolment in the Italian Wine Scholar® and Italian Wine Essentials programmes respectively, as well as the opportunity to stay for a few days in our wine-growing area and live a full experience discovering our Estate.
The scholarships are open to all wine students, both professionals and enthusiasts, and it will be possible to apply for both scholarships.
